Return & Refund Policy

Barn Owl has a 45-day refund policy. If a customer is unsatisfied with the product, they can return it within 45 days for a refund or replacement.

Return shipping is free for all camera orders. Customers will pay for return shipping of accessories if not returned with a camera.

Refunds will be credited upon receipt of the returned items.

Product Warranty

The Limited Warranty covers defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period of 2 years from date of purchase.

Barn Owl will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts that prove defective under normal use. Repaired or replaced products assume the remaining warranty period of the original product.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship
  • Theft or loss

Camera Insurance Policy

Camera Insurance is provided as an option and is charged as a monthly fee of $11 per month.

Insurance is selected when activating the camera in the Barn Owl App.

The option to turn on Insurance is in the "Manage Cameras" section of the Barn Owl App. Insurance must be selected within 7 days of camera activation.

The Insurance Policy provides one “no fault, no questions asked” camera replacement per year, defined as 365 days from the purchase date of the original camera. Shipping costs will be paid by the customer.

If customers require more than one camera replacement within the 365 day period, they can purchase additional replacement cameras at a 20% discount off the current retail price, assuming they continued to pay the insurance fee.

If the insurance fee is terminated or not paid, the insurance policy for that specific camera account (not the customer account) cannot be re-instated.
