From configuring your alerts and periodic triggers to managing your image and video quality, the RangeCam is designed for those who need remote monitoring and do not have the time to visit each camera location daily, weekly, or monthly to adjust settings.

High-resolution Photos & Videos

With the 5MP image sensor, the RangeCam can transmit images up to 2560x1920 and videos up to 848x480 at 30FPS. Unlike other cameras on the market, you can configure and manage your image settings remotely, from within your Barn Owl HQ account.

OnBoard GPS and Anti-theft Alerting

Equipped with a GPS sensor, the RangeCam is able to take advantage of the Barn Owl Mapping Features and anti-theft camera movement alerts. You can easily map your locations and create a visual perimeter of your land while feeling secure knowing that your camera(s) can't just walk away without an alert being triggered.

Weatherproof

Out of the factory, the RangeCam is rated for operating conditions from -13° to 140°. In practice, the RangeCam has been proven to work in sub -25° conditions on the peaks of Alaska to the frozen tundra of northern Minnesota while being able to withstand the heat of raging forest fires in the west. The RangeCam continues to outperform its competition in all weather conditions.
